Eventually, I think, everything designed by a human - and perhaps anything "designed" at all, say, sand dunes - gets re-interpreted, re-built, re-worked, re-duced, re-whatever-ed. Business cards appear to be no exception. Check the new designs for identity cards at Ideo. More interesting to me is the design of their site navigation. Too bad they don't provide a way back to the home page from the Identity Card window...

Nice symmetry: in the summer it's the drone of lawn mowers up and down the street; in winter it's the growl of snowblowers. You can look up the street and see rooster tails of snow flinging themselves into the air. Kinda like the United Airlines commercials in Chicago a few years ago, with the drawbridges over the river going up and down in stutter-step synchronization. Smells a bit different though - as bad as the river can be, it doesn't reek of 2-cycle engines.

Been on a plane lately? Not today you won't. 3 inches of snow and more to come! Wee-hoo! But what I want to know is, do telecommuters get snow days?

Underdog, Underdog, how far you've fallen!
