As slugs went, it wasn't a bad slug. Still, it was a slug. A big one. And it reminded me way too much of the leeches we occasionally found attached to us while innertubing Pigeon River in Indiana. We let him go and he headed for the trees..

now it could just be the photo, but that is ONE BIG SLUG!
As I remember, he was 2 to 3 inches long. Bigger than what I'd seen before, but I'm told not as big as some here in the Banana Slug Capital of the World.
