not a good start to the morning
east coast stunt kite championships, nj (memorial day weekend, circa 1990)
It was the deepest fog we'd ever seen on a flying field. We could hear the kites, but we couldn't see them. The competition schedule got trashed by the delay, but we managed to get everything done by the end of the championships.
